Aureliano
Ribeiro
Plastic Artist
Aureliano Ribeiro was born on July 29, 1957 in Santa Iria de Azoia, municipality of Loures.
Art has always had a great influence on his decisions; theater and music were part of his life. Very early he realized his skills for drawing, specializing in architecture.
The taste for architecture took him to higher flights and in 1987 he emigrated to the United States of America. In 2002, he created NYC Restoration, Inc., a company dedicated exclusively to the restoration of old buildings based in New York City and which has endured so far. In the United States he took some technical courses in painting. He considers himself a self-taught man and his paintings are based on abstractionism and impressionism.
Currently, he divides his artistic and professional activity between the United States and Portugal, dedicating almost all his time to painting, realizing what has always been his dream of life; be an artist.
